Ipswich Scrap Metal will remove old car bodies, trucks, metal dinghys (tinnies), farm equipment and machinery from your home or business anywhere in Ipswich and its surrounding areas. These items are then dismantled and cut up if necessary and sent to various organisations for recycling.

For a car, the motor, running gear, radiator, air conditioner and interior are all removed and the remaining shell is crushed. All the separate items are sent to the appropriate place for recycling.

• E-Waste - Computers, Printers, Photocopiers

 We do NOT recycle the following items:-

• Tyres - Passenger vehicle tyres can be taken to these places
• Glass - Bottles (all sizes) in Recycle bin, Plate glass in Council Refuse Bin
• Plastic - City Council Recycle bins accept all recyclable plastics
